Lynn Pennec vous fait visiter la Cité de Refuge et le Centre Espoir!
Conçue en 1933, par Le Corbusier pour l’Armée du Salut dans le 13e arrondissement de Paris, la Cité de Refuge est un centre d’hébergement et de réinsertion sociale, ayant pour vocation d’accueillir les personnes en difficulté tout en leur offrant une structure pour se reconstruire. Le bâtiment fut ensuite classé Monument Historique en 1975.
Aujourd’hui, et depuis plus de 80 ans, l’Armée du Salut continue ce travail d’accueil et de réinsertion au sein du bâtiment.
Après avoir suivi le chantier passionnant (débuté en 2011 et terminé en 2015) de réhabilitation de ce bâtiment emblématique, Lynn vous fera découvrir l'histoire et l'architecture de cette oeuvre sociale.

EN // On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, on the weekend of 16-17 September 2017,Lynn Pennec takes you on a tour of the Cité de Refuge and the Center Espoir! Designed in 1933 by Le Corbusier for the Salvation Army in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, the Cité de Refuge is a center for housing and social reintegration, designed to accommodate people in difficulty while offering them a structure to rebuild. The building was later classified as a Historical Monument in 1975. Today, and for more than 80 years, the Salvation Army has continued this work of welcoming and reintegrating people in need. Having followed the exciting rehabilitation of this emblematic building (begun in 2001 and completed in 2015), Lynn will share with you the history of this social work.
